You’re convinced the X2F HO scale coupler was actually developed in exploratory labs located deep inside Sector 12 as an attempt to help the Guardians of the Universe protect future colonies. Let’s go back to 1957, Athearn’s HI-F Drive was gaining popularity through recent releases in their HO scale diesel line and the Hustler made it’s a glorious debut on to the model railroad scene gaining a solid foothold on many layouts and a place in model railroad history. This is the debut of a new series hosted by AML’s very own Tony Cook, a fountain of knowledge when it comes to the history of this great hobby and the editor of Model Railroad News.
